Initial Free Consultation
During the visit, we will:
- Chat about your pet’s personality, quirks, and favourite routines.
- Go through feeding, playtime, and any special requirements.
- Discuss health needs, medication, or mobility issues if relevant.
- Talk about my background and experience caring for animals.
- Complete a few simple forms so everything is clearly recorded.
- Discuss key handling, home security, and household preferences (e.g. lights, mail, or watering plants).
- Introduce your Butter Paws Personal Notebook, where each visit will be lovingly recorded.
- Agree on how you’d like to receive updates while you’re away — WhatsApp, text, or photos
Pet Care Visits Include
During each visit, we will:
- A gentle greeting so your pet feels at ease right away.
- A welfare check to ensure your pet is safe and well.
- Cleaning and refreshing food and water bowls.
- Feeding prepared exactly as your pet is used to.
- Cleaning litter trays and tidying pet areas.
- Following your pet’s daily routine as closely as possible.
- Playtime, cuddles, and companionship.
- Gentle brushing for cats who enjoy it.
- Notes and highlights recorded in your Butter Paws Notebook after every visit.
